Here at CAST we took on the challenge of the last 2 years & faced the impact of the global pandemic across the organisation & our own wellbeing. We recognised very early on, in April 2020, that there was going to be a long term situation that would have the potential to affect many people’s mental health & wellbeing for an indeterminate length of time.
So we began working very quickly & creatively to transfer all the skills & knowledge we usually share face to face, into ‘online’ versions of our courses. This was done in close partnership with Mental Health First Aid England & The National Centre for Suicide Prevention Education & Training as part of both National Training Teams.
CAST estimates that during the last 2 years we have delivered over 200 Mental Health First Aid & Suicide First Aid training solutions, meaning we have been responsible for training more than 2,000 people during that time.
During 2022, we are working in partnership with several national charities to design & deliver a wide variety of accredited training courses & webinars – watch this space for updates & exciting news about new training opportunities!
